The FL/Y pendant lamp from Kartell, designed by Ferruccio Laviani, is a contemporary interpretation of classic lighting, inspired by the lightness of a soap bubble. Its transparent shade, available in a variety of colors, subtly reflects light, creating an iridescent shimmer effect.
The unusual design - the lampshade is not perfectly hemispherical and its bottom edge is below the diameter - allows the light to be better focused downward, providing functional illumination.
The lamp comes in three sizes:
- FL/Y - Diameter 52 cm, depth 33 cm (classic version),
- Small FL/Y - 38 cm diameter, 28 cm depth (compact option for smaller spaces),
- Big FL/Y - diameter 83 cm, depth 55 cm (impressive version for large interiors).
