Designed by Søren Rose for the brand GANDIABLASCO, a collection of garden furniture ARENA is inspired by the soft, flowing shapes of the dunes. The subtle curves and wavy lines of the individual pieces give the collection an organic character that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings. Through its form, ARENA refers to traditional basket-weaving techniques, while reflecting the simplicity and clarity of the aesthetics of Scandinavian bent-plywood furniture.
When selecting materials for the ARENA collection, aluminum proved to be an obvious choice - due to its exceptional durability and resistance to outdoor conditions. It perfectly matches the heritage of the GANDIABLASCO brand and its long experience in working with this material.
ARENA Club Armchair is a design project whose structure made of thermo-lacquered aluminum slats has been carefully shaped to achieve soft, organic lines reminiscent of an enveloping gesture - like a big, comfortable hug.
