AMI AMI is a chair that combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, drawing inspiration from the Japanese art of braiding - its name in Japanese literally means "braiding".
The designer, wanting to pay tribute to one of your country's iconic techniques, created a piece of furniture that delights delicate yet expressive pattern reminiscent of hand-woven fabrics. Its straight, geometric lines contrast with the richness of the structure, and the whole is created thanks to the advanced industrial process, in which the weave pattern is reproduced using a single casting mold.
This combination minimalism and decorativeness, which makes AMI AMI is perfectly suited to both modern interiors and spaces inspired by Far Eastern design.
