Aaland Sofa Green

AALAND is a new collection of upholstered furniture designed by Patricia Urquiola, inspired by a painting archipelagos, that is, the groups of islands that make up the a harmonious whole in a fluid space. This unique concept permeates every element of the collection - soft, organic shapes of the seats merge and intermingle, by creating small islands of comfort and shared relaxation.

Collection AALAND redefines the classic approach to upholstered furniture, placing a focus on free forms, non-obvious shapes and multifunctionality, that go beyond traditional seating styles. It consists of sofas, armchairs and large and small poufs, which together form dynamic landscape, full of opportunities to meet and interact. None of the elements in the collection exist in isolation - each is part of the coherent whole, in which furniture complements and combines in a natural way.

The furniture was designed in compact size, which provides easy to move and arrange spaces according to current needs. The collection is complemented by three sizes of AALAND carpets, distinctive original graphic design - two rounded, organic forms connected by a subtle "seam" that emphasizes their mutual fit. This visual effect adds depth and clarity to the space, enhancing its energy and aesthetics.
