Toulemonde Bochart Caprice Multi Carpet
- 92% wool, 8% viscose
Toulemonde Bochart Caprice Multi Carpet this unique piece of functional art, designed by Vincent Darré, an eccentric Parisian designer known for his bold and theatrical interior designs. This is Darré's third collaboration with French brand Toulemonde Bochart, which has been combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design since 1945.
It was inspired by the ceramics of Vallauris, the symbolism of the fish as a sign of good fortune, and the depth of the Mediterranean landscapes that the artist encountered during a trip to Capri. The result is a carpet with a vibrant, multicolored composition in which geometric forms and contrasting colors create a dynamic yet harmonious whole. The black, irregular frame and the subtle lines that divide the surface into different colored fields give the design an artistic touch.
The rug is handmade using the tufting method with high-quality yarn: 92% wool and 8% viscose. This combines natural softness and durability with a soft sheen that highlights the depth of color. A special dyeing and washing process gives it a subtle aged effect, reminiscent of watercolor color transitions.
Caprice Multi is available in three sizes: 170x240 cm, 200x300 cm and 250x350 cm, allowing it to fit into a variety of spaces - from living room to bedroom or study. This is for people who appreciate original design and French lifestyle, who want to bring a bit of artistic extravagance to their interior.
