Each product from Gan is designed by notable designers such as Jean Marie Massaud, Marie Mess, Marisa Gallen, Patricia Urquiola. As a result, each rug is characterized by remarkable design and craftsmanship, which are appreciated around the world. The brand's products were made in India by experienced artisans who use only natural fibers such as wool and cotton. By choosing Gan carpets you will make your interior get an original character and elegance in a simple form.
The collection of four rugs stems from Álvaro Catalán de Ocón and GAN's shared goal of raising awareness and combating, through craftsmanship, one of the great global problems of the industrial era: plastic waste. Each rug is a faithful and scaled representation of one of the planet's most polluted and contaminated rivers: the Ganges, Yangtze, Indus and Niger. The rugs are hand-woven from recycled plastic fibers (100% recycled PET), a material that takes on new meaning and highlights the paradoxical beauty of its origin: rivers, natural wonders that have been turned into landfills that carry thousands of tons of plastic into the oceans.
